Our Forest Folk are hand turned right here in Western Australia by Bob and Murray, two very talented retired wood turners. They are made from naturally fallen tree branches that are foraged from State Forests in the Southwest region.
It is very common for hard woods to have knots, insect holes, sap veins and varying grains within the one piece. We welcome the uniqueness of this within our Forest Folk, you’ll never find two the same.
Whilst each Forest Folk is hand turned and inspected before delivery, please note that some pieces may crack over time. This is due to circumstances out of our control, such as the climate, timber species and unseen faults. If this does happen it shouldn’t affect the overall product nonetheless, we ask you to remove any pieces that become sharp or unsafe – particularly any pieces that pose a choking hazard.
Our Little Whimsy Forest Folk are turned with so much care, sanded and then polished with a natural bee’s wax.
2 x Approximately 7cm in height.
PLEASE NOTE: Colours, shapes and sizes of this product may vary to what’s shown in the image.
